Anne Frank is a symbol of the six million humans who died in The Holocaust - and of the some SIXTY MILLION overall deaths in WWII. Her story is tragic beyond compare but her spirit and courage also inspiring. We only have her diary, but I wonder what else she would have written had she lived. I have wanted to visit her museum in Amsterdam, but fear it would actually be too unbearably sad.
How unbelievably sad, too, that she died of typhus sometime in March 1945 at Bergen-Belsen Concen-tration Camp, Germany just before it was liberated.
